From 2015-2017, his next complex change management projects
were for Vodafone Netherlands. Incorporating and setting-up Vodafone Financial Services B.V., as a consumer credit company for handling mobile handsets. Plus leading a M&A-team divesting Vodafone Thuis, in order to enable the VodafoneZiggo merger in the Netherlands.
These are the five spearheads of his work between 1998 and 2016:

2007-2008

Gert-Jan was a leading team member of the M&A project team which sold Vodafone Thuis. This divestiture was a formal precondition by the EC for the merger of Vodafone Netherlands and Ziggo into VodafoneZiggo.
Often times he has been involved in such activities as mergers, leveraged buy-outs, acquisitions, divestitures, refinancing and credit facility extensions, deal negotiations. But also in leading IT related projects and process improvements in the online consumer credit businesses, making these more visible and transparent.
